Savenay racecourse
The Hippodrome de Savenay offers one of the most pleasant and rural settings for horse racing in the region. The Société des Courses de Savenay, founded in 1850, organises 4 meetings of trotting and flat races from May to July. Another special feature of this racecourse is that it was occupied by the American Army during the 1st World War and by the German Army from 1940 to 1941.
