HIPPODROME DE LA FORÊT

The Société des Courses hippiques organises five or six meetings a year. With its green setting on the edge of the Le Gâvre forest and its modern facilities, the Mespras racecourse attracts racegoers from all over the region.

As its name suggests, the racecourse is an enclave in the beautiful Le Gâvre forest. Its woodland setting and grass track give the days at the racecourse a countryside feel, and the races a very natural feel. Its speciality is cross-country racing, with its spectacular layout and obstacles.
Trotting and gallop trainers appreciate the quality of its tracks, which are renowned for their flexibility and selectivity in cross-country racing.
