CHALONNES-SUR-LOIRE - 20 - DE LOUET EN CORNICHE

The vineyards of Angers, a great place to hike

This walk will take you from Chalonnes-sur-Loire to Rochefort-sur-Loire. You'll discover the Corniche Angevine, a listed site, with its breathtaking panoramic views over the Loire Valley and vineyards. Don't forget to climb to the top of the Malécots headframe for an even greater view. And don't forget to admire the chapel of Sainte Barbe des Mines, the jewel in the crown of the Corniche Angevine.

- Chalonnes sur Loire station area: steps, followed by 50 m of narrow, steep path, can be bypassed by road.
- Chapelle Sainte Barbe des Mines sector: 80 m of narrow, steep path, can be bypassed by the road.
