Balades avec Cheval Saint Laud

Horse-riding around Durtal and Seiches-sur-le-Loir.

Just outside the stable, the Chambiers forest offers a multitude of paths.

Sébastien will be happy to introduce you to horse-riding techniques and help you perfect them.

Whether in the arena or outdoors, working a horse requires lightness, flexion of the jaw, rotation of the pelvis, commitment and submission. That's why working a horse in a riding arena or in the paths of a forest is complementary. What's more, it has the advantage of combining learning time with leisure time in the great outdoors. If we had to set ourselves a final goal, it might be to become independent on horseback, outdoors and in safety.

If you'd like to discover the area around Durtal and Seiches-sur-le-Loir, spend a day, a weekend of 2 or 3 days, or even 5 days, exploring a wide variety of landscapes. You can explore the Chambiers forest, the Boudré forest, the Malagué wooded nature reserve, etc.

You can also hike for several days and stay at the Cheval Saint Laud gîte.

Forest paths, old country lanes, the banks of the Loir and a minimum of roadside are the menu for these 5 listed and recognised itineraries. There are no particular difficulties, the gradient is limited, and you can adapt the route at any time (longer, shorter...). The routes average around thirty kilometres.

For these rides, you need to be comfortable at all three paces and be able to manage your horse outdoors.
Children are welcome on their own from the age of 15, and accompanied by their parents from the age of 11 (subject to the availability of a suitable horse).
