BALADE EN FORÊT DE LA PIERRE ATTELÉE
The Pierre Attelée forest is the only coastal dune forest in Loire-Atlantique.
Covering 41 hectares, this protected natural site has belonged to the Conservatoire National du Littoral since 1977. It is maintained by the town's services in conjunction with the Office National des Forêts (ONF). A wide variety of trees can be found here, including pedunculate oak, holm oak, laricio pine and other broad-leaved trees such as acacia and maple.
A great place for walking all year round, with footpaths and a horse-riding loop for you to enjoy in complete freedom!
There are four information panels on the local flora and fauna, as well as a presentation of the Pierre Attelée menhir that gives the forest its name.
