Introduction to surfing in Pays de la Loire: how does it work?
You love watching surfers at ease on their boards, and today's your big first. For a first session, allow 1 h 30 to 2 h of activity.
When you arrive at the surf school, you'll put on a wetsuit to keep your muscles warm throughout the session. It's then up to you to carry your board to the beach.
Your state-qualified instructor will explain how to balance and evaluate a wave in formation, when to start, and a thousand and one tricks to find the right movement to stand up.
Before you take to the waves, you'll spend some time together on the beach practicing these moves under your instructor's watchful eye. Now you're ready to try your first wave.
Let's face it: you'll need a certain number of waves to get the hang of your board... and a lot of patience. Who in your tribe will find their sense of balance fastest? The pros bet on the lightest!
Back at the surf school, everyone will be eager to talk about their incredible experience on the board, the thrills and spills, and the laughter caused by their neighbor's falls.

What equipment do I need for surfing?
All you need for your surf lesson is your swimsuit and beach towel. The wetsuit and board, both adapted to your body shape, are supplied by the "Vogue et Vague" pros.
