Situated on 17 acres of meadows, woodlands, forest and beautiful gardens, Loire Valley Llama Farm is the perfect spot to escape to nature. Nestled at the end of a quiet country lane, our unique farm opens into a stunning valley where the llamas roam.

Whilst you’re here, why not relax by the pool. Discover the woodland, meadows and forest that make up our farm. Listen to the llama chatter. Have adventures kayaking, zip lining or paddle boarding nearby. Explore the local market towns, charming rural villages and bustling cities of Le Mans and Tours only a 35-minute drive away. Visit the iconic circuit and museum at Le Mans or discover the legends of Africa at the Zoo de la Flèche.

We offer a variety of comfortable but quirky accommodation, including our guests’ favourite, the Llama Lodge. This converted ancient wine press is perfect for an unusual stay, and sleeps up to 4 people. Not only is the lodge equipped with a kitchenette and private shower, it also has a small window at the back where you can secretly watch the llamas as they play in their favourite area

Maybe you would prefer Glamping in one of our thoughtfully positioned, spacious 5 metre belle tents or the 6 metre Tipi (NEW FOR 2024) overlooking the llama meadows? Equipped with real beds, cotton bedding, solar lighting and private outdoor gas showers, our glamping tents comfortably sleep a family of 4 ~ we can provide an additional floor mattress if you are a family of 5.

Loire Valley Llama Farm is nestled in the Forêt de Bercé. Therefore, through our gates, you have immediate access to endless stunning forest paths, bridleways and off-road trails – ideal for walking, hiking, and cycling. Just a 10-minute drive away is the town of Château du Loir, with its traditional cafés, supermarkets, shops, crêperie, pizzeria, various takeaways and tabac bars, also, every Saturday is Market day.

Once here, Why not visit one of the many wonderful wine caves on the famous Loire Valley Wine route. Perhaps you’d like to experience the Vallee du Loir à Vélo? Not to mention, our neighbouring horse-riding centre that organises treks through our local forest. What’s more, you can spend the day mastering water sports at one of the local leisure lakes.

Absorb yourself in the historic Garden of France. Take a stroll around one of the region’s many châteaux, the closest, Château Le Lude, is only 20-minute drive away. As well as exploring medieval Tours and the beautiful Place Plumereau, pay a visit to one of the most famous racetracks in the world – Le circuit des 24 heures du Mans. But not forgetting the hidden Cité Plantagenêt in Sarthe’s capital city of Le Mans.

Maybe you’re looking to get up close with some of the world’s most amazing animals – if that’s the case, look no further than La Fleche Zoo. Situated just a short 35 minute drive from our farm, you can easily take a day trip to explore the incredible variety of animals and exhibits. With our farm as your base, you can experience all that the zoo has to offer.
