For an exceptional stay, choose Happy's Tiny Pom, specially designed to provide comfort, peace and service. Mélanie, the owner, has designed this tiny to be big enough to suit everyone! It also comes with heating and a large 14m² terrace, so you can enjoy it all year round.
You'll love the tasteful decor, the extensive kitchen and leisure facilities and the setting: the organic orchards of the cider and poultry farm. An original concept that she will be delighted to show you around.
There's a private area with a terrace and a play area with a swing for the children, and the Tiny's large picture windows look out over the orchards and the countryside. There's also an outdoor Nordic bath heated to 32°C all year round.
The farm has the Bienvenue à la ferme (Welcome to the Farm) label, and offers all its products for tasting and sale: apple juice, cider, spirits, vinegar and compote. A treasure hunt in the orchards offers a fun way to discover the treasures of the site (€2/person).
A picnic basket (€7/person) and a Mayenne-style packed lunch (€50 for 6-7 people; €35 for 3-4 people) are available to sample local produce - please order 48 hours in advance.
Shops: baguette vending machine 400 m away; grocery shop and bakery in the village of Gennes (1 km); all services and shops in Château-Gontier (9 km).
For outings, Château-Gontier is a must, with the Refuge de l'Arche (renowned animal park), the aquatic complex (indoor and outdoor pools, waterslide and wellness area), the marina (hire of electric and pedal boats, kayaks, paddles, etc. and electric and muscle bikes for children and adults). A stage town on the VéloFrancette, from Ouistréam to La Rochelle.
The Robert Tatin Museum in Cossé-le-Vivien is remarkable for its monumental statues in the park.
