MEUBLE LE NOYER

This white stone house has been renovated using local materials to retain all its character: poplar flooring and chestnut slatted ceiling. A large garden surrounded by a hectare of natural meadow is a delight for children.
The Gite Le Noyer in Nieul-sur-l'Autise has a curious layout: facing south, you enter the 40 m² living room via the outside stone staircase. This room used to be heated by the cows that lived in the stable on the ground floor.
Today you'll find the sitting room with its wood-burning stove and fireplace, as well as the dining room and kitchen area. In the kitchen area you'll find a washing machine, dishwasher, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle and coffee maker.
The sleeping area on the ground floor is accessed by a beautiful internal elm staircase; it comprises a bathroom with bath and washbasin, a separate WC, and two bedrooms, one to the south with 2 single beds (90cm) and one double bed (140cm), and one to the north with a double bed (140cm).
Your beds will be made up on arrival. Baby equipment available: high chair, folding bed, of course, but also deckchair and pushchair.
Outside: relax on the south-facing terrace with garden furniture under the palm tree, deckchairs and a barbecue. Enjoy a game of badminton and table tennis (rackets provided), a swing and a boules pitch.


To make the most of the surrounding area, walk from Le Noyer to fish on the banks of the River Autise or follow the footpath to Nieul-sur-l'Autise. Discover the Abbey and its adjoining houses.
History buffs above all, Vouvant, a village of painters, is well worth a visit, not forgetting the legend of Mélusine.
If you're in the mood for nature or swimming, then take advantage of the Chassenon lake, 5 km from La Monnaise.
If you're a sporty type, you'll certainly be tempted by climbing. On the Pierre Blanche rock face at Mervent, there are 55 possible routes.
By bike, take the cycle paths from Maillezais to l'Aiguillon-sur-Mer.
On the canals of the Venise Verte (Green Venice), take a boat or canoe trip, with or without a guide, from the landing stages in the Marais Poitevin.
Famous places such as Ile d'Aix, Fort Boyard, Puy du Fou and Futuroscope.
Perhaps you're interested in flora or fauna, or both, so visit the aquarium at La Rochelle or the ornithological park at Saint-Hilaire-la-Palud.
