LOGIS DES PONNES

Ideal for a stay with family or friends, in the peace and quiet of a charming little hamlet consisting of a château and its outbuildings, on a magnificent site adorned with century-old trees (14 hectares of parkland, woods and meadows punctuated by long driveways), the Logis des Ponnes, with a surface area of 180 m2, welcomes you for a comfortable stay in the heart of nature, close to a wide range of activities (banks of the Yon, beach, leisure parks, golf, horse-riding, etc.).It has 3 bedrooms (2 with a double bed (140cm) and 1 with 4 single beds (90cm) and 2 bathrooms) and can accommodate 8 people in total.

Our prices are available on lagirardiere-vendee.fr. They include household linen (sheets, towels, bath mats and tea towels), cleaning at the end of your stay and all utilities (water, electricity, wifi, heating).

A large shared heated swimming pool (13.5 x 5 m) is available from April to October (not in use the rest of the year). It has a large cover that can be completely removed. It's great fun to swim from April onwards, and even in the off-season, because the shelter is so large and keeps the heat in perfectly. When the sun shines, the pool is completely uncovered and you can swim in a beautiful green setting.

The entire property is freely accessible (park, woods, meadows). Roads are more than 500 m away, and the peace and quiet is absolute. It is not unusual to see roe deer, squirrels, hedgehogs, owls and many other birds, depending on the season.
The park is planted with redwoods, blue cedars, Himalayan weeping pines, silver lime trees, purple ash trees, magnolias, walnut trees, chestnut trees, yews, etc. The wood is planted with oak, hornbeam, beech, chestnut and hazel trees. There are plenty of paths to wander along.

The night sky is absolutely magnificent. The property is very close to the observatory of the Centre Astronomique de Vendée, which is located here because of the absence of light pollution and the mild temperatures throughout the year.

The banks of the River Yon are within easy walking distance of the hamlet, offering a pleasant walk in all seasons, and in summer you can cool off in the shade of the trees with your feet in the river. Fishing is also possible.
Many other cycling and walking routes are also available.
Tennis court, children's playground and basketball court in the village of Le Tablier (2 km away).
Nearby: horse-drawn carriage rides and donkey rides.

Your pets, dogs and cats are welcome: they will find all the space they need to be happy.
We can also accommodate your horses in a large meadow with shelter. A beautiful 60x20 dressage arena, a round pen and a preparation/shower area are available (boxes are also available if required). Numerous walks in the surrounding area. Reservations must be made at the same time as the stay. (Price: €10/day/horse in pasture).
