La Guérinière is an oyster farming, market gardening and salt water fishing village where you will find local shops (bakery, grocery shop, pharmacy), the market takes place every Thursday in the town centre and you can visit the Museum of the Traditions of the Island of Noirmoutier. Nearby, take the cycle path to the Port du Bonhomme, with its typical fishermen's huts and access to the many shellfish farms in the Bay of Bourgneuf. Here you can buy oysters, mussels and other shellfish.
The beaches of La Cantine and Les Eloux stretch for several hundred metres.
