Charming, typically Vendée farmhouse dating from the early 18th century. It is set in 3500 m² of enclosed wooded parkland, a peaceful setting ideal for relaxing.
The 4m by 10m swimming pool, with a gentle slope from 70cm to 160cm, is heated by a cover (total protection for children) and surrounded by a large deck. Several garden lounges are available: one under an arbour overlooking the pool, another on the pool deck, a third under a fig tree and a third on the terrace adjoining the kitchen.

The house sleeps 6 people (optional extension to 8, see conditions below). It comprises large rooms, each measuring 35 to 40 m².
Ground floor: A large kitchen/living area with dining area, sofa, granite worktop and all the necessary equipment (fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, etc.). Spacious lounge with monumental fireplace, 7-seater sofa and armchairs, TV and coffee table. A bathroom and separate toilet. A bedroom with 2 beds, 130x190 and 140x190, a fireplace and a wardrobe. A second very spacious bedroom, with a ceiling height of up to 4 m, with a 140x200 trundle bed and an 80x170 cot. This bedroom has access to the outside and adjoins a second bathroom (bath and shower) with separate WC.
First floor: Large bedroom with a 140x190 bed, decorated in white rattan.

This house is located 2 minutes from a number of places of interest: Marais Poitevin (Venise Verte just a few kilometres away), 20 minutes from the Forêt de Mervent, 40 minutes from La Rochelle and the seaside, 1 hour from the Puy du Fou.

From the house, there are numerous walks and cycle rides in the marshes. Grocery/butcher's shop and bakery in the village.

- End-of-stay cleaning: €60, possible during the stay.
- Extension to 8 people: additional €200 per week.
