The Bon Accueil gîte is a tufa stone house located in the charming Loire village of Souzay-Champigny, 7 km from Saumur and Montsoreau. A holiday between the Loire and the hills, between vineyards and troglodyte heritage.

The house is located on rue de la Bonne, right next to the unusual "troglodyte trail".
On the ground floor, there is a 28 m² living room and upstairs, 2 recently renovated bedrooms, one with 1 double bed, the other with 2 single beds, a shower room and separate WC. All windows are double-glazed and have new radiators. Beds are made up on arrival.

In the heart of the Loire Valley, your stopover in this Loire village will give you the chance to discover the troglodyte caves on the hillside: on foot or by bike. You'll follow the real underground streets of the "troglodyte route" and in particular the famous "rue du Commerce", just a few metres from the gîte.
But there's more: pretty manor houses clinging to the cliffs, the famous Saumur-Champigny vineyards, walks on the island of Souzay offering exceptional panoramic views... This village alone offers a wonderful overview of the Saumur countryside.
From the house: Souzay-Champigny hiking trail "From Marguerite d'Anjou to Antoine Cristal" (16.6 km), GR3, trail (3 trails pass in front of the gîte), Loire à Vélo trail, mountain bike trail, the Route des Vins...
There are many sites to visit in the surrounding area (châteaux, mushroom beds, wine-tasting cellars, etc.), as well as various trips on the Loire by traditional boat or canoe... or perhaps a hot-air balloon ride over your holiday home!
