CAMPING LA PRAIRIE

A pretty campsite with 120 pitches, ideally situated at the edge of the forest and just a short distance from the beach. La Prairie is a 4-star campsite where Nicolas and his team will welcome you with a big smile to their site which is adapted to families with young children. They are environmentally friendly and offer a lovely friendly atmosphere.

At the edge of the forest, just 800m from the sandy beach, Camping La Prairie is an ideal location for families looking for a relaxing and fun holiday. The campsite specialises in holidays aimed at families with children 0 – 12 years old and does all it can to ensure the whole family goes home with lots of happy memories.

The campsite offers a secure setting with an emphasis on respect, kindness and maintained cleanliness of the property.

Our campsite is open from the beginning of April and offers a range of accommodation which is comfortable, light and spacious. There are options for 2 or 3 bedrooms, all with a shaded veranda terrace, where you can make the most of the Vendée sunshine.
For those preferring to sleep under canvas or in a camper van, there are pitches available which are flat, grassy and spacious.

If you want to have fun in the water there are 2 heated swimming pools. One interior pool with spa features and kids fun paddling pool. The exterior pool has a water slide and paddling pool.

During the day your children can meet up with their holiday friends at the Kids Club which has lots of creative ideas.
Adults too have the chance to be active with aqua gym, fitness sessions, petanque competitions and activities bringing adults and children together.
In the evenings, there are various fun activities such as karaoke, concerts, dancing, bingo, themed dinners, swim parties, crepes….etc


Our main objective is to make life easy for you throughout your stay. To help with this we provide quality services – 2 modern washroom blocks, equipped laundry areas, baby care area, travel cot and high-chair hire, snack-bar, bread and breakfast pastries baked onsite. There is also a grocery shop and bike hire available – everything you need for a stress-free holiday.

You can use the cycle paths and forest footpaths closeby to discover the beautiful area of Pays de Saint Jean de Monts.
