The site used to be a farm and you can still see some of the remnants of those days with the ‘Grange’ (big barn) – which was where the first holiday makers would gather for friendly communal meals in the 1980’s. There is also the ‘bourrine’ (peasant cottage) - a little house made of earth with a thatched roof which is the traditional dwelling on the marshes. There is a warm and friendly atmosphere with an ongoing connection with the land.

Good quality accommodation for 2 – 6 people on spacious pitches. A particular favourite is the range of ‘Prestige Taos’ cottages (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, dishwasher, bedlinen and towels – plus cleaning package included)
Ideal location at the edge of the forest and close to the beach. The cycle path runs along the back of the campsite and you only have to jump on your bike to get to the beach or the town, without any worries about parking.

Once you’ve settled into your mobile home or have finished installing your caravan (putting up the awning is always a rather delicate moment!), make the most of all the various facilities the campsite has to offer… and the holidays can begin!


2 heated swimming pools. One inside for those days when the sun is playing hide and seek with the clouds and one outside in an ideal location for afternoons of fun in the pool, lazing with a book or topping up your suntan.
A sauna, steam room and jacuzzi are available – perhaps a reward after a day on your bike or walking in the woods, or maybe just because you want to make the most of the opportunity!
In the high season, the kids club welcomes your little ones of 5 – 12 years old. They can take part in lots of fun and activities together, forming many happy memories that will stay with them for a long time.
A playground, trampoline, inflatable and even an outdoor fitness area, all available to keep everyone busy – whatever their age.

As well as being holders of the quality labels ‘Clef Verte’ and ‘Camping Qualité’, Bénédicte and Alain have also signed up to the local scheme ‘Engagés pour une destination durable’ (Sustainable tourism project) promoted by the Pays de Saint Jean de Monts community. Give-back donation boxes, solar panels, composter boxes and prudent purchasing – everything is thought through carefully to limit the impact of tourism on the environment. They love their surroundings and want to do as much as possible to preserve them – but at the same time, enabling you to have a great time discovering them for yourself. It might be the huge sandy beaches, the varied landscapes, places to visit such as Puy du Fou or maybe one of the local salt producers or oyster farms.
