Christophe has been sharing his little slice of paradise in the countryside of an Anjou hamlet since 2009. Come and stay in one of our authentic bed and breakfasts in the countryside, where kindness is the order of the day!

Here, everything is beautiful and calm: the place exudes harmony and a gentle Anjou feel that has an immediate soothing effect.
"La Cotinière" is a small hamlet of guest rooms and gîtes in Aligny, in the commune of Grézillé in Gennes-Val-de-Loire.

The guest house is an invitation to recharge your batteries: a flower-filled garden with a large terrace, deckchairs and fields and vineyards all around.
In the evening, you can choose between the traditional restaurants in the troglodytic caves or Christophe's table d'hôtes (booking required) using produce from his vegetable garden and local produce. During dinner, Christophe will help you taste Loire wines and share his knowledge of the area to guide you.

For your overnight stay, there are 4 bedrooms with modern furnishings that blend well with the authenticity of the house.
On the ground floor, red and bright, this is the "Coquelicot" room for 1 to 3 people.
Upstairs, with a window overlooking the courtyard, the "Côté Cour" room sleeps 1 to 3, in grey-orange tones that bring out the tufa stone walls. The "Côté Jardin" room also sleeps three.
The very latest room, "Boisé-Blanc", has just opened: 35 m², very natural, very comfortable and very charming. You'll have a magnificent view of the vineyards, troglodyte cave and garden.

In the morning, you won't want to miss the generous home-cooked breakfast.

A few kilometres from your green nest, enter the church of Notre Dame de Cunault and admire the mural paintings, the shrine of Saint Maxenceul and its 223 sculpted capitals, making it a veritable masterpiece of Romanesque architecture in medieval Anjou. And just 20 minutes away by car, you can discover Saumur, with its Cadre Noir, its château and the special history of this Anjou town. It's also the perfect opportunity to do some shopping with local producers and discover the great wine cellars of Saumur and the surrounding area. Your host will be delighted to advise you on the best places to visit.
