MONASTERE ORTHODOXE DE BOIS SALAIR
Just outside the village of Fontaine-Daniel is the Orthodox Monastery of the Nativity of the Mother of God.
The Sisters of the Community, who have been based in Fontaine-Daniel since 2014, transform noble, organic and natural raw materials using ancestral know-how to offer a range of products, including soaps, balms, syrups, jams, herbal teas and beeswax candles ...Vespers and the Divine Liturgy on Sundays and major feast days are open to all who wish to participate.
The Flori'sain shop, accessible on site and online, offers handmade monastic products: soaps, jams, candles, all made with care and prayer. It is open Fridays from 3pm to 5pm and Saturdays from 12pm to 5pm.
