Église Saint-Martin de Vertou et son polyptique

Neo-Gothic church with a magnificent polyptych. Just a few minutes from the Loire, this church can be seen by walking along the intramural path in the commune of La Pommeraye.

Neo-Gothic church built in 1868 by Coutailloux, replacing an earlier 11th-century church.

The imposing façade features a four-storey bell tower with an arch against the abutments of the side aisles.
Inside, in the choir, the polyptych recounting episodes from the story of God is the work of Bernard Bouin, a native of La Pommeraye.
