Built in the 11th century, the church of Saint-Martin-de-Vertou boasts an astonishing twisted bell tower. Built in the 11th and 12th centuries, it is dedicated to Saint-Martin-de-Vertou. The nave was built in the 11th century and the choir and bell tower in the 12th. Of all the twisted bell towers in the Baugeois region, it is the only one that turns anti-clockwise.
