Chapelle du Mûrier

The Chapelle du Mûrier is a sight to behold...

Built in the flamboyant Gothic style, the Chapelle du Mûrier is characterised by the unity of its harmonious construction lines, which extend over 27 m in length and 17 m in width.
Dating from the 15th century, it was built following a plague epidemic as a sign of thanksgiving. Now in ruins, it still attracts the attention of visitors, who are curious to understand what might have happened to it...

Follow the programme for tours and concerts!

The chapel is part of the Batz-sur-Mer interpretation trail. For children, a fun map with games and riddles is available free of charge from the Tourist Office.
