The lime kiln on the Ile Saint-Michel.
The lime kiln on the Ile St Michel was built around 1850 and ceased all activity between the two world wars. The kiln is a truncated pyramid with a square base measuring 10 m on each side. It is 10 m high and could hold 36 m3 of a mixture of limestone and coal. It was renovated in 2001.Contact
