Fuseau de la Madeleine
This 5.65 m high granite menhir has been dated to around 5000 BC. It is oriented on a north-west/south-east axis and leans slightly to the north-east. Its slightly tilted and rather tapering shape at the top is certainly the origin of its name: "le fuseau" (spindle) (weaving tool). La Madeleine is the name of a nearby locality, where the Pontchâteau Calvary is currently located.
