Forêt Domaniale de Longuenée

The 600-hectare Longuenée state-owned forest is the ideal place for walking, cycling or horse-riding, as well as discovering the flora and fauna.

This forest covers almost 600 hectares and is home to a wealth of flora and fauna: over 500 species of mushroom have been recorded, as well as wild boar, roe deer, foxes and squirrels, but you'll also find frogs, salamanders and nuthatches around the pond. A 3.5 ha pond where you can fish.
The grounds are ideal for nature outings in complete tranquillity: a 16 km bridle path for horse riding enthusiasts, a hiking and cycling trail... not forgetting areas for picnics.
Please note: the forest is closed to the public on Thursdays during the hunting season.
