Some dykes, which have recently been built, cross the pond at three different points. Fishing is strictly forbidden on these dykes.
The "Black-Bass" in Pornic is in charge of this site. Fishing licences are available at Coopérative Maritime or at the Renaudin shop in the city centre.
Here are the fish species which are currently caught:
zanders, perches, carps, eels, tenches, roaches, breams.
The re-opening of the white fish angling takes place every year around the end of April. The carnivorous fish angling starts again at the beginning of June.
