A lively square filled with extraordinary animals!
Come and discover the mechanical bestiary created by François Delarozière of the theatre company La Machine: crocodile, sacred ibis, hippopotamus, Nile perch, dromedary… And get involved by operating these mechanical sculptures using the controls and levers seamlessly integrated into the greenery surrounding the ponds.Unique in their kind, these quirky mechanical animals can be viewed free of charge.
Guided tours with the team of veterinarians are organised regularly during school holidays. Group visits are available by booking. Contact the Destination La Roche-sur-Yon tourist office for further information on 02 51 36 00 85.
