The Gallo-Roman fortress of Rubricaire stands on the slopes of Mont Rochard in Sainte-Gemmes-le-Robert. This monument is just 3 km from the ancient Roman road linking Jublains to Le Mans. This Rubricaire controlled the surrounding countryside. The Rubricaire was modified and refurbished for defence around the 11th century. Parking and free access on foot.Contact
