Dating back to the 12th century, this castle gained in importance in the 16th century, when it experienced its greatest feats of arms, before becoming a farm in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Dating back to the 12th century, the castle grew in importance in the 16th century, when it experienced its greatest feats of arms, before becoming a farm in the 19th and 20th centuries. The castle is not open to the public. Restoration and security work is underway (the site, castle and car parks are privately owned).
