Fábio Lopez has modernised Swan Lake. His version retains the lyricism and beauty of the original ballet, while introducing innovative narrative and choreographic elements. He explores the psychological aspects of characters such as Odette and Siegfried, giving them more complex dimensions or focusing on contemporary themes such as identity, freedom or the duality between light and darkness.
