LES JARDINS D'OCÉANIS
Les Jardins d'Océanis
Les Jardins d'Océanis in Saint-Nazaire: a public garden combining Mediterranean fragrances and an oceanic atmosphereLes Jardins d'Océanis is a 14-hectare public garden in Saint-Nazaire, offering a veritable oasis of greenery. Located along a green corridor, they stretch over a kilometre, linking Porcé beach to Océanis.
Since their inauguration on 24 June 1993, the gardens have become a veritable haven of peace. On one side, you'll be enchanted by the Mediterranean scents of the exotic plants that populate them. On the other, you can soak up the oceanic atmosphere thanks to the variety of species present.
To make your visit easier, signage has been put in place from 4 June 2011. There are two totem poles at the two entrances to the gardens, and 25 flagpoles judiciously placed throughout the gardens. These markers will make it easy for you to find your way between the two distinct areas: the Mediterranean side and the ocean side.
Let yourself be charmed by the beauty and diversity of the Jardins d'Océanis in Saint-Nazaire, a unique place where Mediterranean and oceanic influences meet in harmony.
