Distillerie Combier
The oldest traditional distillery still in operation in the Loire Valley, which in 1834 produced the Triple Sec "L'Original Combier liqueur d'orange".
The tour takes in the still room, a magnificent 19th-century installation designed by the Eiffel engineers. Home to the famous Triple Sec liqueur, the distillery now produces a wide range of liqueurs, gins, absinthes and syrups. The tasting session at the end of the tour is an opportunity to sample the flagship products, alcohol-free syrups and famous varieties of absinthe, thanks to the new Colette-style tasting method. The distillery also produces Guignolet d'Anjou, a regional speciality of which the Saumur distillery is the birthplace.Book online
