Discover the Pays de la Loire in a different way with a sea kayak!

Outings lasting from one to three hours allow you to discover Piriac-sur-Mer, Pornic or La Plaine-sur-Mer from the sea, and gain a new perspective on the coast's beautiful villas or fisheries.

More adventurous families can enjoy 5-hour excursions to the Ile Dumet opposite Piriac-sur-Mer, for example. Sea kayaking, which is particularly quiet, is ideal for birdwatching in this ornithological reserve. Just remember to bring a pair of binoculars!

Contrary to its name, sea kayaking is also possible on rivers such as the Canal de Haute Perche near Pornic. Between bocage, fisheries and wooded areas, you'll get a totally unusual view of Pornic's surroundings. A peaceful stroll ideal for wildlife watching.

What equipment do I need for sea kayaking?

Vogue et Vague" instructors will provide you with a kayak, skirt and paddle, a life jacket and, if necessary, a neoprene wetsuit. Remember to bring a change of clothes, closed shoes that like sea water, sun cream, a hat and water.
