Family sand yachting in the Vendée: who's the best pilot?
Ten minutes before the start of your session, report to the base nautique. If the wind is between force 3 and 6, the activity can go ahead. The instructor will then provide you with a helmet and a wetsuit to put on over your nautical outfit... which means it's potentially wet!
The advantage of sand yachting is that it's an all-weather activity... rain is no obstacle, and can even spice up your discovery session a little.
The instructor will take the time necessary to introduce you to sand yachting, and help you practice in complete safety: how to maneuver? How to catch the wind? How to steer?

What equipment do I need for sand yachting?
A pair of gloves (gardening type), old shoes, splash-proof clothing and sunglasses... not forgetting a complete change of clothes to put on after the session.
