Wild plants grow discreetly along our paths, often ignored, sometimes trampled underfoot. And yet they have stories to tell.

During a walk along the footpaths, Claire invites you to take a fresh look at these wild plants, which have always been part of our daily landscape, and learn how to name them, observe them and understand them.

You don't need to be a botanist. You don't need to be a botanist. Just curiosity and the desire to walk differently.

What you'll experience during the walk

Along the way, you'll learn to identify around twenty common plants, to spot their distinguishing features to avoid any confusion, and to discover their traditional uses: herbal teas, wild cooking, and everyday care. You'll also learn how to pick plants in a way that respects biodiversity and complies with regulations.

Botanical and cultural anecdotes punctuate the walk, so that the plants remain etched in your memory long after the outing.

A summary of the plants covered is sent to you by email at the end of the walk.

Who's it for?

This walk is for anyone with an interest in nature, adults and children aged 8 and over. It's a great way to spend time with family and friends, or on your own. Minors are the responsibility of their parents or guardians.

Presented by Claire Poirier, a nurse by training and holder of a university diploma in phytotherapy and clinical aromatherapy (University of Grenoble, Faculty of Pharmacy).
