BALADES A BORD D'UN BATEAU TRADITIONNEL DE LOIRE : LE CINQUIEME VENT

Let yourself be told the story of the Loire, one of Europe's last wild rivers, this "great river of sometimes wet sand", as Jules Renard wrote.

From April to the end of October, Les Chalandoux du Vème Vent, an association of Loire bargemen, will be offering cruises in a "gabarot" along the Loire. The aim is to give the general public a chance to reclaim this great river and take a fresh look at its cultural, heritage, tourist and ecological importance.

Themed walks are scheduled throughout the summer: ApéroLoire at sunset, Echappées Belles, les 5 Sens...with food and wine or beer pairings; Fauna, Flora and the Loire Islands, Musical walks, Le Monde de la Loire (lectures on the boat: archaeology, painters of the Loire...)
