Les Vignes de l'Alma
Vineyard located on the heights of Saint Florent le Vieil, a stone's throw from the Loire and the Loire à Vélo cycle route.
Romain Chevalier is the only winegrower in Saint Florent le Vieil, having taken over his parents' business.This 11-hectare family vineyard, with its superb views over the Loire Valley, is run using the TERRA-VITIS approach. This environmentally-friendly approach promotes biodiversity through natural practices that limit chemical inputs as far as possible.
The grapes are harvested by hand and all the wines are made on the estate.
On site, you can discover the vineyards around the estate and taste the different appellations produced in the cellar: Crémant de Loire, Anjou Rouge, Anjou Gamay, Rosé de Loire, Cabernet d'Anjou, Muscadet, Chardonnay.
Our favourite: Anjou Rouge Eole, a deep red wine with a velvety mouthfeel.
