Domaine des Petits Quarts
A 26-hectare Chenin estate, we specialise in the production of Crémant de Loire, dry Anjou Blanc, Coteaux du Layon and Bonnezeaux.
The history of this estate began in 1887 with the Godineau family, who specialised at the time in the production of Coteaux du Layon and Bonnezeaux.In early 2022, with no successor, Jean-Pascal Godineau handed over Domaine des Petits Quarts to four Anjou families. Four local children, passionate about Loire wines and the local terroir, with the ambition of perpetuating the estate's traditions, while at the same time developing their offer.
Today, we have 26 hectares of vines with different types of soil (grey/green schist, purple schist, phtanite, sandstone and quartz). We have a single grape variety: Chenin, with which we still produce our Coteaux du Layon and Bonnezeaux, as well as dry white wines in the Anjou Blanc appellation and Crémants de Loire.
