Presentation of: ATELIER CUISINE POUR ANGLOPHONE : << CUISINEZ-VOUS LE FRANCAIS ? >>

If you want to improve your French, then where better than a 19th century château in the heart of Western France? At Langue & Nature, our cultural immersions are unique. Not just because of our exclusive setting, but because we tailor our program to your needs. So, whatever your level, you’re bound to make considerable progress.

The Host:
Welcoming you to the château is Aude le Marié. Over the last 30 years, Aude has developed a highly structured grammar programme, including a range of innovative activities. She will simplify ‘complex’ grammar rules and ensure that you leave will the skills and confidence to speak French on your own.
Aude is supported by a team of experienced teachers. We are here to encourage you to make progress and make you feel at ease!

Your accommodation:
Château de la Mazure was built at the end of the 19th century as a place to welcome guests. A century and a half later, the château still retains most of its original features, including paintings, cordovan leather and tapestries.
Although we try our best to preserve our history, all bedrooms have ensuites and there is Wi-Fi too!
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all included. During each meal you will get the chance to practice speaking French as different role plays are organised. We will discuss a range of interesting topics such as sport and culture.

The program:
Using the immersive approach to language learning, Langue & Nature boasts a variety of activities to perfect your listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills. These range from interactive group work to one on one classes.
Cuisinez-vous le Français? a French cooking class, is also on the menu. This not only gives you a chance to improve your linguistic skills by learning new vocabulary and interacting with our chef, but you’ll get to learn a new dish too!
External excursions are also included in the programme. These will not only give you a taste of French culture but allow you to practice your new and improved language skills in real life situations.
Excursions include :
• A tour of Laval, a little town only 10km away, including the two châteaux and a visit to Lactopôle, the world’s largest cheese museum.
• Exclusive dinner parties at local chateaux
• A trip to Mont Saint Michel (optional)
• Cider tasting at Eric Bordelet (optional)
• Visit to the Closel Vinyard and Estate (optional)
• Visit Cointreau museum in Angers (optional)
You will be joined on all visits by a member of our team, who will make sure that you get the most out of each experience. You’ll also have a ready-made friend!

Discover the Mayenne region:
Although only 1h10 minutes from Paris, the Mayenne is one of France’s hidden gems. The unspoiled region consists of a diverse range of scenery, including farmlands, woodlands, rolling hills and castles.
It is unlikely you’ll hear any English spoken here, making the region the perfect place to immerse yourself in our language.
