PORT DE BLAIN
Marina with 18 pontoons and a slipway. You can park your car on the quay. A wooden footbridge over the canal links the harbour to the Promenade Anne de Bretagne, which leads to the Château de la Groulais.
At the beginning of the last century, foodstuffs, barrels of wine, Loire sand and fertiliser were unloaded at the Port of Blain. And the barge would leave with a cargo of cider apples, oak trunks, clogs from Le Gâvre, charcoal... at the speed of a horse's stride!
It's now a marina with pontoons (with electric hook-up), a slipway and toilets. It is also possible to take on water and empty waste water. Sailors on the canal like to stop here, particularly to enjoy the restaurant and two cafés.
