Lac de Maine, the green lung of Angers
With a total surface area of over 200 hectares, including 110 hectares of water, Lac de Maine is one of Angers' most popular places to relax or go for a walk.The lake is a great place to fish for whitefish, predators, carp and more. Be careful, however, to fish from the shore in authorised fishing zones.
Since spring 2022, float tube fishing has also been possible in a defined area.
The site offers a wide range of activities: hiking around the lake, sporting activities, swimming in summer, picnics with barbecues provided, etc.
