This tour takes you around Lac de Grand Lieu http://lacdegrandlieu.com, France's largest natural lowland lake in winter.

In fact, its surface area shrinks from 6,300 ha in winter to 2,300 ha in summer. It offers a variety of viewpoints from which to explore this protected natural site.
Possible starting point for the GRP: walk to the gymnasium, then turn right, walk past the Port de la Morinière then through the town centre to the cemetery car park.
