A 2-kilometre literary walk along the banks of the Loire. This green route follows the route of the GR3 and the Loire à Vélo. Used by the writer Julien Gracq until his death, it links Saint Florent le Vieil to Notre Dame du Marillais.
In homage to the famous writer Julien Gracq, born in Saint Florent le Vieil, take a walk along a sandy path along the river: the Promenade Julien Gracq. A pleasant walk punctuated by extracts from the writer's writings. Don't hesitate to stop off on a bench to admire the royal river from Saint Florent le Viel.
The walk is 2 kilometres long, from the market town of Saint Florent le Vieil to the sanctuary of Notre Dame du Marillais, at the mouth of the Evre. This route is also part of the Loire à Vélo and GR3 cycle routes.
