N°5 : Chemins buissonniers

Dating back to at least the 11th century, the village developed along the medieval road from Bonnétable to La Ferté-Bernard. The traffic linked to this road brought prosperity to the village, which is still illustrated by the large two-storey houses lining the church square. Several inns were still mentioned in 1841, when the present-day R.D. 7 was opened, leaving the village behind.
