Le Traict de Pen-Be

Whatever the season: the coastline from Pont Mahé to Pen Bé remains wild, mysterious and powerful.
Walking along the reef, hikers become one with the nature that surrounds them.
Faced with the sea spray and with their senses alert, they will be struck by the thousand scents that blend the moor and the sea.
They will be stunned by the cries of the birds as they mingle with those of the ocean.
At the end of the bay, they will be surprised to recognise their fellow human beings, gathered together on this small piece of land, this peninsula swept by the wind and the waves, where all year round, the farmers of the sea bustle about.
The strength of the coastline gives way to the calm of the salt marshes, where the egrets seek their sustenance until the end of winter; and to that of the bocage, where the cows graze peacefully, gathered under the hundred-year-old oaks of this authentic countryside.
