Discover the hydraulic development of the Marais Poitevin along the canals
The Rainettes trail starts out from this typical market-garden village and takes in the wet marshland, then the Bazoin locks where several canals converge. The return journey takes you along the Sèvre Niortaise, lined with traditional houses.INFO diversion: following work on a footbridge to Bazoin (left bank of the Sèvre), follow the signposts. Free parking recommended: opposite the campsite, route du Grand Port

Get off to a good start: with your back to the port, walk around the village hall via rue de la ferme.
