CIRCUIT DE LA VALLEE DU GESVRES TREILLIERES

Leaving from Place de la Liberté
Between streams and heritage, this trail passes through the Chapelle Notre-Dame-des-Dons, a building in the village of Les Dons near La Ménardais. It dates back to between the 11th and 12th centuries. Along the way, you'll come across the park and Château du Haut Gesvres, a 19th-century property that was once the residence of shipowners from Nantes. It is now owned by the local council. Its parkland has preserved some very fine species of tree and to round off this tour, the Château de Gesvres, a beautiful property with porch, main courtyard, sheds, chapel and stately home, was essentially built in the 17th century by César de Renouard.
