Our association was founded in Le Mans in 1986 by a group of people who, having spent time in Nepal, wanted to pool their knowledge of the country and their love of travel and the outdoors.
As enthusiasts of sport, the great outdoors and the mountains, we invite you to join us in our activities, in the hope that this community spirit will enable everyone to undertake new projects. You’ll be able to explore the Sarthe region via its many walking routes, as well as other parts of France from north to south.

Affiliated with the French Hiking Federation (FFR).

Led by 8 FFR-certified guides
Hikes of 10 to 15 km on Sunday afternoons.

LES AMIS DU NEPAL offer the FFR licence *Access to hiking and/or Nordic walking and/or mindful walking activities.
This licence can provide personal cover for your trips and holidays with family or friends!​
