La Voie Verte en Pays d'Ancenis
Created on a former railway line, the route links Carquefou, on the north-eastern outskirts of the Nantes conurbation, to Candé in Maine-et-Loire.
Away from motorised traffic and in the shade, get on your bike and cycle the 47 km between lush green meadows and wooded areas. Along the way, you'll be treated with the utmost courtesy by a few birds and wild animals. Nearby, the remnants of railway lines, old stations and bodies of water provide an opportunity to take a break (picnic area, children's play area, footpaths, etc.) and get your head out of the handlebars. The Voie Verte can be explored by bike, on foot or on horseback.
