There are signs along the way describing and naming the species you'll come across.
Along the way, you'll also be able to see the old Brosses quarry, where the lime extracted was highly reputed.
It was used to repair Craon castle in 1569.
The kilns in Le Bourgneuf-la-Forêt had to cease production around 1860.
