Vignobles en Scène: when art, wine and gastronomy meet in the heart of the Pays de la Loire region
From October 16 to 18, the “Vignobles en Scène” event invites curious visitors, wine lovers, and foodies to step inside the wineries, explore the vineyard landscapes, and meet the people who bring them to life. Inspired by European Heritage Days, this major national wine tourism event takes place every third weekend in October and features a program combining wine, gastronomy, heritage, culture, and unique experiences.
Three destinations, endless experiences
In the Pays de la Loire region, the three destinations certified by Vignobles & Découvertes—Muscadet Loire Océan, Anjou Saumur Val de Loire, and Vallée du Loir—invite you to spend three days exploring the heart of their terroirs. On the agenda: a wide range of activities organized into three categories to enjoy to your heart’s content:
- Les Gustatives, for curious palates: food and wine pairings, tastings of old vintages, gourmet walks…
- Les Immersives, to immerse yourself in the living world: meetings with winemakers, workshops on winemaking techniques and climate challenges, games in cave dwellings…
- Les Créatives, where art resonates with the landscapes and flavors of wine.
Grand medieval banquet at the Berrye Fortress: an immersive evening in an exceptional setting
Imagine yourself seated at the lord’s table, in the heart of a fortress steeped in history.
For Vignobles en Scène, the Berrye Fortress offers an authentic medieval meal created by Fabian Müller of Cuisine Historique, paired with a selection of six iconic wines from the Anjou-Saumur region.
The evening will blend heritage, gastronomy, and entertainment, featuring medieval music, juggling, and storytelling centered around wine, presented by the Corazon troupe.
