Lydia and Françoise offer you a warm welcome at l'Orée des chênes.
This 2.5-hectare site faces due south and has a breathtaking view over the clearing. This entirely ecological project is the culmination of a long journey of awakening, a dream come true.
Here, everyday habits fade away, and we take time for ourselves while respecting each other and nature.
The tipi is built by hand, just like the other facilities. It measures 5m in diameter and can accommodate 2 to 4 people. It is made from chestnut and bamboo poles, and the outer canvas is cotton.
For the night, there is a double bed and two single beds. Dynamo lamps are provided, as the tipi has no electricity supply.
Young and old alike will marvel at the sight of the peaks, just a stone's throw from touching the stars.
There's a dining area outside, and the breakfast included in the rental price can be left at the entrance. Sanitary facilities are nearby, with showers, dry and normal toilets. By the light of the moon, you can listen to the flora and fauna under the Amerindian cone.
Tipi", which means "to live in", was originally the Amerindians' tent, a portable shelter to house them when they were on the move in pursuit of game.
The tipi is available from May to the end of September.
